As the President of International Decorators, Inc., and on behalf of my partner, I want to state that we are unequivocally committed to providing our employees a safe work environment. Our main goal is for all employees to go home in the same condition as when they left their loved ones in the morning. Safety is a core value and we expect and demand that all of our employees work in a safe manner. We will not allow shortcuts of safety to speed up productivity. We are committed to being the industry leader in safety. We invest in our company with time, talent and money. We invest in time from our New Hire Orientation, our Quarterly Safety Meetings, our Jobsite Safety Inspections and numerous other activities. We invest in talent by having a full-time Safety Manager who oversees our entire “Safety Culture.” We invest our money through the purchasing of safety and training software, safety equipment such as proper fall arrest and fall prevention equipment, safety guardrails, personal protective equipment, etc. We partner with our aerial lift vendors to discuss the status of their inventory to ensure that our equipment rentals are safe for our employees to work on.
